"The lobby is beautiful as well as the courtyard. Difficult to locate the valet parking, so parked a few blocks away as most streets are closed nearby. The room was nice, but the age of the hotel shows with regard to plumbing. I am sure it would not be possible to update a historic structure such as this. Loved the adjacent bar visited by Teddy Roosevelt. Our room had a view of the Alamo grounds. "

"Check in was quick. We booked online.
The room was affordable, clean, and had a simple and nice design. Also had a microwave, mini fridge, blow dryer and ironing board.
Restrooms were clean, stocked and also had big bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body lotion.
Our only complaint was locating the light switches on the lamps. Other than that, we had a nice and comfy stay! "
