Great hotel

From our initial greeting from the concierge to settling our account every member of staff made us feel valued and judged the level of attention just right. The room was very comfortable - great bed, bathroom and view from the windrow. Had the most wonderful stay at Ballyseede castle. Felt totally relaxed with a lovely homely feel. Staff were so nice and food delicious. Lots of rooms to just hang out and enjoy some quiet time . Room was lovely and comfortable with great shower. Beautiful grounds for walking around and just enjoying the castle. Fantastic stay overall.

We found all the staff in the hotel extremely friendly and helpful. On our arrival a member of staff brought a very welcome cup of tea and slice of cake to our bedroom.

We were welcomed by Sheila, the co owner who offered tea beside the log fire on our arrival. We shared their lovely home for the booked 2 nights & then stayed an extra one! Breakfast was served by Sean & was at the time requested & of very high standard. On our return after dinner ( at local restaurants) there was an offer of tea or coffee each evening , no matter how late we were. Sean was very helpful & knowledgeable with planning our days out to the Ring of Kerry & evening meals

Had a really lovely and relaxing stay at Dunmore House. The room, was very nice, spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable. The shower room was modern and spacious, the towels soft and thick. The staff were wonderful, really helpful and so friendly. Breakfast was delicious. We also ate one night in the Adrift restaurant, it was really good!! This is a lovely hotel in a great location with the nicest staff. The only downside is that the floors have a couple rooms that are separated from the elevator by a few steps that make it difficult when you have a lot of luggage. That aside, the rooms are very well appointed, the beds comfortable and everything is very clean.

Perfectly positioned hotel to enjoy Kenmare whilst spending time on the Ring of Kerry.

We stayed here for 5 nights at the beginning of April. The hotel was fabulous & the staff were amazing very friendly & nothing was too much trouble for them. We stayed in a suite, pure luxury! The breakfast was lovely, continental & a full English cooked fresh to order. The hotel is spotlessly clean. We ate in Alfie's restaurant & can highly recommend as the food was lovely. Clean room great staff great breakfast

It's a smart place to stay, everything you need obviously. I was particularly glad for the lovely terrace to sit out at the end of the day.

Excellent hotel. Close to Cork Airport and Cork City. Ideal for a relaxing break. Staff worked very hard to make one feel special. Loved the method of registering and settling the account via a personal receptionist and being sat down at a desk. The gentleman at the door was friendly, welcoming and offered advice when asked. Gorgeous boutique hotel with the friendliest staff, perfect little stop on our travels

One night stay but wish I could have stayed longer although I had been looking for a hotel closer to Killarney centre the Fossa walk from the Hotel to Killarney (about 8 KM return) is suitable for all as it is flat all the way so good for walking or cycle and any age although day light hours more suitable, Taxi not expensive.
