"The hotel is new and very nice, rooms nice and clean. We were surprised that at 8 am there was limited offering for breakfast items, no yogurt or fruit or bread or anything for toast. Cereal items were available and a few eggs and staff did not appear to be restocking items. The waffle or pancake machine was broke, breakfast area looked sad 😞. Did not fit the appearance of the rest of the hotel,"

"This property was a last minute booking after having a terrible night at a different hotel. They were so accommodating and helpful here. My kids and I enjoyed the smaller waterpark feel of Surfari Joes. It was just enough for enjoyment, but not as overwhelming as those larger parks. I will be planning another trip here soon!"

"I’ve stayed at this hotel before; cleanliness used to be hit-or-miss, but now it’s excellent. The only thing that bothered me was an unpleasant, musty smell in the room—I had to ask for air freshener. I’m pleasantly surprised; the décor has been improved, and the breakfasts are very hearty. I’d recommend it to others."

"Family was impressed with the room renovations. The pool and spa open till 11 PM. The breakfast was better than average hotels that include breakfast. Delicious coffee! Breathtaking sunset on the lake across the street. We will definitely return in the near future."
