"The location was central and easy to find. It’s not far from restaurants and shopping, although they aren’t really a walkable distance, parking isn’t usually an issue in Springfield. It’s pet friendly and there were multiple guests with dogs. The hotel is built courtyard style, with 9 stories of floors that all look into the large central area over the restaurant. There is a coffee shop onsite. Room was large and very conveniently located. There is an indoor pool and an outdoor pool. The only ice machine is located on the 5th floor. The bed was ok as far as hotel beds go (we certainly have had worse). There were 2 styles of pillows (some firm, some fluffy). The room had a chair and a pull out sofa, as well as a table and two dining chairs. All of the chairs were reasonably comfortable, but the I don’t like the trend all hotels seem to have taken of housekeeping being only upon request, but it seems to be everywhere, not just this hotel. With limited housekeeping, there should be more than 1 small garbage can in the room. Breakfast was decent, but a little pricey. The lady who runs the breakfast was really wonderful, though. Dinner at the restaurant was pretty good, and the prices were reasonable."
