"The Gayatri is a charmingly beautiful property located in central Ubud. The moment you step through the gates it is feels like you have entered a private retreat. We stayed in a pool side room which was like a separate villa with traditional Balinese architecture and wood carved doors. Amenities included a chaise lounge and large dining table on the lanai, two poster beds with mosquito netting and large sized bathroom with plenty of toiletries. "Ashanti is lovely, we weren’t given the accommodation we thought we had booked, but instead had the one bedroom pool apartment and the one bedroom apartment upstairs which were connected by a steep external staircase as well as the main entrances. This worked well for our family of 3 but if our child had been younger this would have been an issue. The apartments were lovely, in a great location and the staff were friendly and helpful with an unexpected bonus of breakfast being included each day...
