Incredible place to stay in the middle of the palace. Walkable to everything and the Hotel Vespa breakfast was to die for! Staff at both were incredible. Walls in room are over 2000 years old and the architecture is incredible. Bed was comfy and incredible pillows!! All amenities you need in the room including wine glasses and corkscrew for fellow winos :):)

Very helpful host-arranged for 2 young men to meet us at Riva Promenade to navigate tourist thronged Old Town to get to accommodations finely located inside Diocletian Palace next to Hilton hotel Vestibule. I was grateful as I couldn’t have manhandled my luggage over the 30 steps to the location, much less the stairwell inside:))) Our lovely limestone walled room was on the 2nd floor, and we could open our shutters to regulate light. A sumptuous sit-down breakfast was served by the gracious attendant Sandra and included cooked-to-order eggs in addition to the pastries, fruit, breakfast meats and coffees, served in the Hilton courtyard just off the Palace Vestibule where accapella male singers performed daily. Bath was small but manageable for 2. Bedding was comfortable and provided 2 independent comforters for each guest. Lovely toiletries were supplied:)

We really enjoyed our stay at Belle Notte. The location was amazing - quiet but close to the vestibule and all the main sights and restaurants. The room was perfect - although we’d love tea and coffee making facilities but I guess that’s a British thing! The breakfast was delicious and the staff were very professional.

This place is in a perfect location and is a unique property within the former palace. The unit was clean and comfortable. Breakfast at the hotel next door was amazing and had so many options. The property was a bit tricky to find when we first arrived but that was largely because we weren't familiar with the area and the entrance is at the rear of the building. Would definitely stay here again.

Ivan got us checked in and also got us a parking spot for our car we are driving while we visit Croatia. He was extremely helpful and exceptionally welcoming. If you need a place to stay for a night or two you should book this room. The breakfast included with your stay that is just downstairs is also fantastic. We will be back!

This is a great room for a short stay. The staff are super responsive, the location is outstanding, and the value is wonderful. Everything is within walking range and the Port of Split is only 200m away. Breakfast is included at Hotel Vestibul, which is next door. Highly recommend if you’re spending a night or two in Split and want to be close to the Old Town and the Port.

Lovely stay here right in the centre of the Old Town, lovely clean room and excellent air conditioning in the room (needed in July!), however the setback was, the owner of the apartment (it’s not a hotel btw) told us on arrival that he only accepted cash (not told that on Expedia) so had to go to a bank and withdraw cash which cost me an extra $50 USD in fees, found it hard to get a receipt of payment before paying in cash but got it after telling the owner, no receipt=no cash payment, the other draw back is the hotel next door where the owner of the apartment tells you to go for breakfast (included) and for general inquiries will tell you straight out that they have nothing to do with the apartment, so the owner spun us a little fairytale there!!. But overall a lovely place to stay in the heart of Old Town in Split, I would recommend it

Belle chambre, beau cachet. Par contre au niveau de la douche, le drain était bouché et refoulait lors de celle-ci. Aussi, j’avais sélectionné le paiement à l’hotel. Nulle part Expedia n’a mentionné que je devrais payer en espèces. Lorsque tu as une facture de 960 Euros, cela change les plans pour le petit change.

Overall a good experience. The location is super and the staff were very helpful. Cool to stay in a place like this. Although, be prepared for it to be a bit loud of course, you can hear other guests coming and going, and the church bells etc. Overall great just note the noise if you don’t like noise.

Breakfast was at the Hotel Vestibul next door, and it was an incredible breakfast! I'd go back just for that. The room was clean, well lit, nice bed and very nicely furnished. Just had some issues with the hot water and the TV not working. For what it was needed for (a bed & a shower) it was perfect.

Rummet var rent. Duschen ny o fräsch.. Personalen var hjälpsam o transfer från o till flyget funkade utmärkt. Hämtningen vid hotellet mitt i Gamla stan imponerade. Frukosten var ok men deras scrambled eggs lämnade en del att önska tycker var som alltid ser fram emot just hotellfrukosten. Luftkonditioneringen funkade utmärkt. Split är en fantastiskt vacker stad. Dock upplever vi priserna på restauranger o barer som väldigt höga. Tyvärr!!

If you are traveling and want any flexibility or communication do NOT book here. The property will not return messages or provide information. We had a death in the family and needed to leave Croatia early, messaged the property owner several times with zero response or attempt to work on arrangement with us. Very disappointing, do not recommend as there are other options in Split.

Voor iedereen die goed ter been is, is dit absoluut een aanrader. Er zijn sowieso in het oude centrum flink wat trappen te overbruggen en deze accommodatie ligt echt middenin het centrum. Een prachtige locatie waarbij het heerlijke en uitgebreide ontbijt op het terras van het pleintje naast het Vestibulum geserveerd wordt. Het is een mooi grote kamer met een goed bed en een lekkere douche. Wij hadden uitzicht op het pleintje met het ontbijtterras, het museum en de toegang tot het Vestinulum. Wij hadden de transfer van €40 aangeboden door de eigenaar geboekt. Bij aankomst stond hij op onze taxi te wachten zodat we met hem mee konden lopen en hij zelfs onze 2 zware koffers de trappen op droeg. Heel fijn!
