"Spent three days on Skopelos Island traveling alone. I stayed in Glossa at the Aegean Wave Hotel and loved everything about it. I enjoy the exceptional service provided by the owners of the hotel. My room and the restaurant had breathtaking views of the sea, glossa village, and other islands. It’s not directly in Glossa, but you’ll need a car or motorbike to get around the island anyway. "This hotel is located on a mountain it says parking available but you need a 4x4 to get up to it. Everything is old in the room, the blankets smelled mildew and a walk to the street. Nice balcony "

"Lovely small hotel in a great location easily walkable to Skiathos town. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and do everything they can to make your stay as good as possible. We were disappointed that the decor and condition of the property wasn't up to the standards of the photos on the website, which make the hotel come across as chic and modern - it has more of a boutique feel in reality, and was run down in places eg damaged furniture and mould on the grouting of the tiles. "The best place to stay on Skiathos! Room was wonderful, with comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchenette, and lovely balcony with a view of the sea. It was a 30 second walk to a beach with gorgeous turquoise water in addition to a 25 minute walk into town. I can’t say enough great things about the staff who not only were super helpful with the check in and transfer from the port to the hotel, but drove me back to the port for my early ferry when leaving. "We've just come back from staying here and we cant recommend it more! Its in-between bus stop 7 and 8 (8 being at the bottom of the hill) the rooms were cleaned everyday and the staff there were lovely. The only downside is the hill from the main road, but we hired a quad so it was fine. We walked down at night but always got a taxi back, 10 euros from the town, which is pretty cheap. We had a lovely week here and the views were fabulous. "
