You'd think a big place like that would be wired properly so it wouldn't trip breakers. Go figure. Still, that was a minor issue and we will definitely stay here again."

It’s a great location to walk to restaurants and shopping, and because of that it can be noisy in the evenings especially on weekends - but it does quiet down and is just part of being in the middle of everything. "The hotel was very clean, neat and well organized. The breakfast choices changed regularly and the small souflfle's were delicious. There was diligent staff cleaning and resupply breakfast items. The front desk staff was extremely nice and accommodating. "

"The room I was put in was on the ground level. Unfortunately, the ceiling / floor above transfered noice exceedingly well. As a result, the noise of the people above me each night during a three day stay was intolerable. I would not recommend a room on the ground level."

"We have stayed here often. With kids and dog and without. Once for two months when one of us was in the hospital for a serious condition. We have always been happy with the staff, rooms, breakfasts, and amenities. We highly recommend this place!"

"I'm hesitant to write a review, because this is the best-kept secret stay in Bellingham! The crew at the Coachman deserve it though. Everything was well-kept and clean. From the grounds/landscaping that I noticed right away, to the rooms and the breakfast and check-in area. I will stay there again the next time I'm in town. I visited with some of the staff, and they are genuinely appreciative of my stay and very personable."
