Had a great stay. You can't beat the location. Right across the street from the Castillo and a 5 minute walk to St George Street and all the shops and restaurants. Checkin was smooth and the front desk person was very helpful. Would stay here again.

I love this hotel, we've been going here since it was the Monterey in the late 90s. It's clean, the staff is great and the location is in the historic area right on the bay. You just park your car and there is no need to get back in it till you leave. The trolly stops right in front and you can get off and on all day in the historic area.

First time spending over $400 for a 2 star for location. Location was epic, right in the middle of old St. Augustine. Adding $25 to park your car was ridiculous. Granted, price point was last minute (a week in advance) booking through expedia,and during spring break, but I'll probably avoid the central location next time for a quieter sleep as the location was definitely not condusive to peaceful slumber.

Great room. King bed, refrigerator, popcorn, TV, plenty of towels for two people. Only drawbacks were walking up the stairs to the second floor with a lot of luggage, and a $25 parking fee/day. No elevator. AC worked well. Good location: walkable to the fort, waterfront, shops, restaurants, cafes, entertainment, and museums and Flagler college. Office staff neutral (not friendly or unfriendly), parking attendants great.
