"The staff was super helpful and friendly. The room was clean but had an off smell and a few sticky spots on the carpet. But nothing we couldn't handle. The breakfast was good too. Unfortunately the pool was down and that was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. It didn't say anything on the site when we booked about the pool being down. That would have been super helpful. But overall a good stay."

"Staff was incredibly friendly; however, the bathroom smelled like urine and the room looked run down. The beds are full size, not queen. Breakfast consisted of two cereal options and bread. The room came in clutch during a busy weekend in Jonesboro, but it’s not somewhere I plan on staying again. Again, the staff was very friendly, but the condition of the property and amenities overshadowed that."

"I normally do not leave negative ratings, but this is an exception. I’m not sure who is inflating the rating on this hotel, or how. Doors look like they have been beaten in. People screaming in the parking lot. For the price I didn’t expect the rooms to be the greatest, but having pubic hair in the bed that wasn’t mine is a deal breaker. Do not stay here. Spend a little more and go somewhere safer and cleaner."

"We stayed at The Ark in Jonesboro while traveling in for a funeral, and it was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. When we arrived, they had already given our reserved room to someone else. From there, things only got worse. They first tried moving us to a room where the door lock didn’t work, the room smelled horrible, and everything looked dirty and stained. They then attempted two additional rooms, both of which also had issues. One had another broken door lock, and another had no working lights at all. Eventually, we were moved to a room on the third floor, despite there being no elevator and my elderly mother traveling with us. The room itself felt unsafe and poorly maintained. The smoke detectors had been disconnected, the electrical outlets were so loose and damaged we were afraid to plug anything in, and there was even a hole in the bathroom wall. There were also no trash cans in the room. When we asked for washcloths, they said they had none. When we requested an iron, they handed us one attached to a giant base like it belonged in a museum exhibit called Hotels of Regret. To make matters worse, there was water leaking from the ceiling outside one of the rooms into a trash can in the hallway, and staff members were openly complaining to guests about management. The billing situation was the final straw. The hotel successfully charged our card, the payment had fully gone through on our account, and they still repeatedly attempted to charge us"

"Reception was awesome. The only complaint is there was only 2 towels, 1 washcloth, there was 2 people staying in the room. I didn’t ask for more towels but next time I will and would definitely stay again."

"Rooms were very clean and fresh, beds were comfortable and it was a great location. I had booked several rooms for family to stay in for graduation and ended up with one too many and both Expedia and Amanda at the Hampton were very helpful in canceling the one room and ensuring that I still had the others to use. Everyone from check-in to breakfast staff to check-out were very friendly, courteous and helpful. And, believe me we were a handful!"
