Room was small but clean and comfortable. Lots of charm. Lobby was gorgeous and front porch was great to relax on. Parking could be tight (it was Memorial Day Weekend) but we managed. Would definitely stay again.

The Avalon is a great stay. Just on the outskirts of the heart of St. Pete but walkable to all including all the dining options on Beach and Central. Also, sharing with the Hollander you get an excellent onsite restaurant and bar. Only inconvenience I experienced was the parking of which there isn’t enough of but you can park on street. Also, would have liked a small fridge in the room but I understand it’s not that type of hotel. Am staying there again soon. The staff is always so great there and at the Hollander.
