"The beach view was amazing! Warm waters, beautiful shells, yet soft sand on the beach. My family loved being able to pack the beach bag provided with fresh cookies and water from the floor’s pantry and go to the beach. The private balcony’s were a place for morning reads while listening to the ocean waves. The nightly turn down service was also wonderful. We ordered room service a couple times and were always impressed by how fast it arrived! The spa service at Opal Sol was not worth it alllll! Their gratuity is already factored into the service, and that is exactly how the massage therapist performed her job, as if she knew her money was coming regardless. I got a full body scrub and she never scrubbed my lower arms, feet or hands. I kept waiting and trying to trust the process, but the service never delivered. I had to repeatedly ask for more pressure for a deep pressure massage that was booked as deep tissue. That whole massage was basically a back rub with oil. The spa manager Jamie contacted me and told me she would be sending me an email with a credit to come back and receive the services again, but I never got the email or even a call back stating that my credit was available to me. For $800+ at the spa, incredibly underwhelming, and was still left disappointed because there was no follow through on correcting the services that were promised to me after the follow up. The property itself is wonderful and I’ll come back for sure, but I will not be re-booking the spa."
