The room was in good condition. As a courtesy to guests it would be nice to have a few bottles of water in the refrigerator after check in. We had a long travel day and needed a refreshing beverage. The water on the island isn’t considered drinkable and we needed to drink bottled water. The food wasn’t great for the price and the bottled water was expensive. Great views of the island.

Staff worked hard to overcome shortcomings of property. It is an aging property in need of upgrading in every area. Apparently net owners just purchased the property 2 months ago and haven't made any changes yet. Also there are steps everywhere (to our room , more to cafe, more to pool, additional to parking) and elevators weren't working. When we tried to get boarding passes the internet was down. The concierge didn't seem surprised or very concerned. Nice views of downtown.

Great location and amazing staff! The maintenance and ground keepers were always friendly and positive. The magnificent cleaning lady always had a smile and was very thorough and detail oriented in all aspects of her tasks. The security folks were focused on their duties and still were compassionate and friendly to all guests. I would highly recommend staying here and getting to know these wonderful people while you enjoy your stay!

We already have our next trip booked . Can’t wait to go back in 2026 to some new things they are going to offer .

The room was acceptable. It was clean and had basic amenities. Overall, the property was a huge disappointment. Let's start with the fact that they have pictures of a pool that no longer exists. Apparently it's been gone for like a decade after a hurricane. So that's like false advertising. The convenience store would close whenever the person working there felt like it. So one night we ended dinner early to go get something before it closed at seven pm only to find out that the clerk locked the door prior to 645. The service at the restaurant was exceptionally slow. One night our dinner took us almost 2 1/2 hours. We would've had several rounds of drinks because we were listening to music, but the server was so slow that anything we asked for took like 15 or 20 minutes before we would see him again. It was island time x10. The rest of the staff was a mixed bag. About half of them were engaging and very helpful. The other half of them had no idea what they were doing. That half wouldn't even look you in the eye or acknowledge you when you were standing in front of them. It was very aggravating that most of the bellhops could not summon a taxi. We found out that the best thing was to go into the front desk and get one of the guest Specialists to call a taxi. Every time they got one within 3 to 5 minutes.

I have stayed at this hotel many times. The view and cleanliness are very good, but the women at reception are the worst in terms of customer service. However, this time I had to speak with Khanolic Callwood. I had to write down her name for a future visit. She is excellent, very friendly and helpful.

I visited during the off season so it was quite serene and clean. They had an on site store to get essentials and a a bar and restaurant for quick meals. The staff was very helpful in locating local foods or shops. I came with no itinerary and left with future options.
