The staff is incredibly friendly and go out of their way to make your stay amazing. Shout out to the transportation supervisor Ms. Freeman, she went above and beyond to find a fruit that I had 40 years ago on the island and get me some. The property is very clean and the beach is awesome. Will definitely be coming back.

My goodness, where do I start? Lia (Resort Host), Kristal (Event Coordinator Manager),Tyeisha (Check In), Katelyn (Bar Tender), Brandon (Red Hospitality Transportation), and a host of other staff members were fantastic!! They made our 25th wedding anniversary perfect. There were so many hiccups with our flight that caused a domino effect of issues, but the staff 100% fixed all issues that arose. The room, grounds, restaurants, staff, and lobby were superb. The private beach was clean, and relaxing. We also had access to the Westin hotel next door with free shuttle to and from. I will definitely be back with my family. Keep doing a great job Buoy Haus!! Thank you so much for all that you did to make our Silver Jubilee a memorable one.

I think the hotel overall is very nice. The weather was great. The service was ok in some departments and not so good in others. Front desk staff and bell boys were great but I felt like the waiting staff at the restaurants weren’t up to par. The Salt Shack specifically I went to about 3 times and all 3 times I waited over and hour just to get the appetizers. How long does it take to make a salad or oysters on ice and serve, and when asking my server about the delay she gives me an Attitude that was very wrong of them.

There was no separate refrigerator, microwave or iron/ironing board. The food at the Isla Blue was not good and very expensive. The staff at certain restaurants were not as attentive as they should have been. Waited a bit and the food prices were very expensive in general. The other hotel staff were very professional and knowledgeable. Loved the resort itself because it was so beautiful! At times there were very tiny ants on the desk in the room (size of a dot), though I realize we never reported that so I apologize for that. May want to keep an eye on that. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay!

We had a wonderful "babymoon" stay at the Buoy House property and enjoyed the various dining options available on-site and from the sister property adjacent (Westin). The service team of the Buoy House was clearly dedicated to customer needs and comfort. We were impressed by and very comfortable with our room, and satisfied with the overall value. My wife and I would return to the Buoy House with our soon-to-be family another time, as we were encouraged by its boutique and tranquil atmosphere while still being family friendly.

Peaceful, beautiful views, so relaxing, wonderful stuff reflection. My only small small caveat which is worth .3 stars was that there was no accommodation or customer service for military veterans for my experience. Everything else was exceptional and exceeded my expectations, especially considering rebooked the day before we flew due to change vacation plans.

This hotel by far exceeded expectations! I loved everything about it. From the room, the theme of the resort, the closeness to the water, the restaurants, everything! The only thing that wasn’t good for me, personally, was the pillows. I prefer flatter pillows. My daughter loved the games in lobby. Her and her friend were able to head there and play while the parents enjoyed time at the bar having cocktails.

The property is beautiful, relaxing and secluded. You cannot walk anywhere from this property and that is a small inconvenience. Cab ride is $20 for two people to downtown each way. The food at the property is just ok, so go downtown to eat. The majority of the staff is great with the exception of a few restaurant workers. Bring small bills for tips, they don’t make change on the property. Overall we had a great time and got what we came for. We will absolutely go back!

This is a premium property for the island. The rooms are quite nice, well designed, with great views. There are great linens, furnishings and other accoutrements. Upon my arrival, my room was not ready, which is shocking giving the very low occupancy during the off-season. As a premium property, nothing is cheap. Restaurant prices, valet, parking, and bar prices are top of the range for the island. But that’s to be expected. What is not expected is a relatively poor beach - with mostly rocks except for one narrow strip away from the rooms. You can see that the facility has probably seen a lot of sand erosion along the beachfront, as stairs that should land you on the beach actually stop about 3 feet above it. I would stay here again - but be aware of the limited beach and higher prices.

loved the Buoy House. and rooms were great Staff and room was perfect Limited dining options Had to go off property for several meals. It was off season so maybe that had something to do with it but otherwise it was fantastic
