"Allowed us to check in early. Staff were all amazing. Room was clean. Only issue was that the room smelled like marijuana so bad it gave us a headache. It dissipated after awhile, but wasn’t the best smell walking into the room for the first time. Everything else was fantastic! I’d stay here again."

"The only good thing about this hotel is the location if you are going to a sporting event. If you generally like Holiday Inn Express, lower your expectations. Old, outdated and in need of major renovation. I think it was clean but it was hard to tell from how old everything was. Carpet looks to be from the 80s, and not in a cool vintage way. The blow dryer in the room was rusted, the shower had broken off shelves, there were paint splatters on the walls and it was definitely not Dove products...

"Proximity to shopping and dining was excellent. Room was clean but hotel is showing its age. The parking garage is dimly lit. Weather was warm but pool was drained. Breakfast buffet was good but we were served water in a glass that had lipstick on it, which was a bit unsettling considering it wasn't busy."

"The bathroom door drug on the floor and would only open about two feet. to get in and out and was very difficult to close completely. Our shower had mold under the caulking over several feet around the bottom of the shower. The carpet was sticky in some areas. The dresser drawers didn't all pull out. It was double price for a Saturday night versus Sunday night."

"I last stayed here three years ago and thought it was great to come back and see all the new updates and I can’t complain! We forgot a toothbrush and the front desk gave us some, the breakfast is decent for a hotel, and valet is very convenient. This will be our go to hotel when visiting KC."

My overall stay wasn’t so pleasant. But the beds are comfortable. So if you don’t mind a dirty room, mid breakfast, then I guess you will be fine."

"No hot water in the shower. No water pressure in the shower. Room 206 Should have brought a hose to hook up to the sink to shower. Elevator floor had some kind of soup spread around. No glass tray in microwave. Fridge was nice! Two tiny two inch pillows, two big towels, two hand towels. This was a four day stay. Not pleasant, front desk said they would put in a work order for my room not having hot water, after first explaining to me that there was no hot water because others were using...

"I liked the rooms, breakfast and pool area. I did not like that no one informed me that there was water available in hall and food area, so instead I had to buy three bottles of water the first night."

"Very unique place, not a hotel feel. Property was immense and only a small portion is hotel. Room walls were adorned with large inspirational words. We had a problem with our tv and the staff was extremely diligent in trying to solve it and ultimately moved us to another (nicer) room. The breakfast had some allergy friendly options. We also enjoyed the nature trail on site."
