"The stay was very average. Positives is it is a beautiful complex with trails and access to the sports complex. Negatives are that they ran out of towels for one of the days at both the pool and in our room, spider webs on the balcony railings and chairs, found items in our room that were not ours and left from prior stays, and the pool was very underwhelming (no towels, pool bar closed, and not nearly enough chairs)."

"We stayed one night and the property was nice. We ordered room service, which was a confusing process because the online menu did not match the room service actual capabilities. Also, the barn style bathroom door is not a good idea for a hotel room. It makes clunky noises when opening and closing, making it wake up everyone in the room if someone needs to get up during the night. I appreciated the free parking."
"We did not use any of the amenities this trip as time was very stressed, but have used previously on other trips as we have stayed there several time. The breakfast is outstanding and the staff are always on top of the service."
"The front desk staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. Our door would not open despite getting a green light and one of the women suggesting pulling up in the handle rather than down, which solved the door problem. The breakfast staff were also friendly and moved rapidly.
As for the breakfast buffet, we were pleased with the quality. The scrambled eggs had a great flavor, probably with butter, and the bacon was indeed crispy. The fruit was good with a nice bowl of blueberries to add to strained Greek yogurt.
The parking lot connected to the hotel is very dark. Several lights did not seem to be working or maybe they are in a timer for later in the day. The rooms were made up nicely. I recommend to housekeeping to inspect the grout in the showers since the humidity of the summer could cause a few specks of mold to develop quickly. The air conditioner is not noisy thankfully.
The Blackfriars Playhouse is beside the hotel. Just walk out and there you are. Shops and dining options begin one block away. This is our third time visiting Staunton but the first overnight visit and we enjoyed it much more this time."
"Room was not ready early when we first got there. No problem, went for ice cream nearby. Still not ready at 3:30 when we got back, but they then upgraded us to a golf course view. Nice room!! Location is remote, but appears to have a restaurant inside the hotel."
"It's Motel 6. So expect no-frills. But if you need a convenient roadside stop in a clean comfortable room for a fair price, this Motel 6 has all you need. Got a good night's sleep, and a morning shower, and was back on my way. The bed was basic but comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The room was surprisingly spacious. And the price was right! I'm glad I stopped here."
