"We had an absolutely wonderful stay here for our babymoon! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The view from our room was incredible and made for such a peaceful, relaxing getaway. Our hosts were truly exceptional — so kind, welcoming, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. The fresh-made breakfast every morning was such a special touch and something we looked forward to each day.
We also loved having access to all of the resort’s amenities and really appreciated how helpful our host was in making sure we had everything we needed and knew what was available to enjoy. We didn’t get a chance to use the spa this visit, but it was absolutely beautiful and is definitely something we’d love to experience next time.
Long View is such a unique and special place, and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. It was the perfect setting for our babymoon, and we would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable, relaxing getaway. We can’t wait to come back!"
"We had a great stay. The room was clean nice friendly people. Beautiful setting on the river with picnic tables. I would recommend this to family and friends!"
"The place was beautiful and in a beautiful location on the side of a mountain. There were nice views all around as well as multiple outdoor seating areas. Our room had a nice view of the mountains. The room was mostly clean. There was a sticky substance in the bathroom floor as well as a used coffee cup behind the toilet and a blue stain in the bathtub due to a leak that had obviously been going on for a while. We gathered that the cleaning person was not the most reliable employee based on comments that we overheard. The place was very quiet. Most of the amenities were not available due to staff shortages and being closed for the season. There was good internet service and a tv with a decent amount of channels. Sausage biscuits and coffee were provided for breakfast, but they were not out by the scheduled time both mornings that we were there. There is no staff on site after 5 pm so if a problem were to arise not sure how well it would be handled. Requests for extra towels, toilet paper etc. had to be placed by noon, so be sure to check your supplies early in the day😊. My biggest complaint was the booking had one price and we were charged something more. It seemed like the place was struggling, so we didn’t complain to the desk clerk. It was a nice place overall, and cheaper than other places that weren’t as nice nor had the views we had."
"Our stay was for two nights. The room was clean and fresh. The staff at the desk was courteous and very helpful as we checked in. The cleaning staff was prompt and did an excellent job. The breakfast room was well supplied with many options.
The only problem was that there was no elevator to the second floor and my wife who has knee problems had to climb up and down the stairs."
"Clean room. Very cozy place for a couple. It was very quiet and peaceful at night on the property. Relaxing atmosphere. Friendly staff. We had a very late check in and they were very helpful with how to find our key and room. Our stay was wonderful although we were out and about downtown and came for the Great Smokey Mountain train ride. Location was convenient."
