The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The only thing to be aware of is that it is not in the main town of St.Goar. This isn’t a problem if you have a car or bike. We thought we could walk it but we underestimated how far it is. We had to rely on the local taxi and while very efficient, it cost us 18 euros every trip (each way)...

"Very cute boutique hotel if you want to stay at a quiet area that's a train ride away from Konstanz. The rooms are very nice and we got the room with the balcony. There are very steep and narrow stairs to go to the room so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues and a lot of luggage. Staff is very friendly and check in was a breeze. Parking is free but a little far from the hotel itself, but still walkable."

"My kids and I stayed here. It was such a delight. There didn't seem to be much to do right in the small town where we were. The castle was perfect though for one night. We did the entire tour, had tea which was incredible, and then eventually had dinner which was also great. Breakfast too! We hiked around the town a bit and came back to hang out on site.
