Hotel Regina Wengen

"The staff at Regina Wengen could not have been more helpful and friendly. WOW!! Our room had a balcony with an AMAZING view of the mountains. We could have sat there all day on our balcony as it was truly unbelievable, but there were mountain trails and peaks to climb. The breakfast too was SOOOO good. We only got to enjoy it one day as we had to leave early the second morning, but the staff made us a bagged breakfast. We were warned that it would not be that great, but it was appreciated nonetheless. The saunas were an added bonus. The only thing about Regina that needs addressed is her bedroom furniture, namely the chairs. Very stained. Still, it has to be one of the best hotel room views in the world."

"This is a great hotel that has many things going for it: very close to the train station so you could easily catch an 8:12 train to Lauterbrunnen after having breakfast; included breakfast that is amazing - I ate freshly baked bread with butter as a desert! The spa that is also included was the best that we've had in a hotel so far. We particularly enjoyed hot sauna, cold plunge and the pool with various massaging jets. This was very helpful as a recovery after lots of hiking every day. The staff was great and very helpful too, particularly Bjorn at the reception. We had room overlooking Jungfrau and enjoyed spending afternoons on the balcony. The only thing that was baffling to me in a hotel of this caliber and in Switzerland was that there was no hair conditioner. I think it would be a good idea to keep some sample size conditioner bottles at the reception and provide them in cases when they are requested. Overall, it was a great stay and I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel."

"Beautiful classic hotel; amazing views; good breakfast; convenient dining for dinner. While I appreciate the classic decor, the faucet in our room dripped hot water, unable to turn off. Also, it was very difficult to use the shower without spraying the entire bathroom. The family room was perfect for us with adequate room to stand up in the loft."

"One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at! While it is a self check in there is always a host to still help with your needs. Using PIN code (or getting an actual card) was different and convenient. Amenities are not in room but the communal area was fully accessible from fridge, microwave, coffee or even cook if you’d like! The room had no TV which forced us to get out of our room and actually played a board game that I now need to buy 😂. Out of my 5 hotels in Switzerland, they had the best pillows and bed. It was also very conveniently located in old town between station and shops. If they are all like this, I’d 1000% stay in one again."

"Beautiful 3 days enjoying the amazing Interlaken area and this hotel is very well situated to do everything by walk and has easy access to East train. My vacation went noce and smooth. Breakfast was very nice. Will come back"
