"Checking in was easy and the staff at the reception was welcoming and friendly. I was only surprised we had to pay a refundable deposit of £50, I’m not sure I saw that during booking. The room was in excellent condition and our son had his own little corner which he really loved. Breakfast was ok and we ordered an omelette which was very tasty. I’d rate our stay 8 out 10. "

"A hotel that does not assume I am going to steal the coat hangers - brilliant! An iron and ironing board that were both in good condition - amazing! My only suggestion is to make the menu options in the restaurant a little less deep fried or in creamy sauces, but the dish of salmon I did order was lovely."
