"The hotel has excellent hardware, but the service experience didn’t quite match the five-star positioning. The building itself, room design, and location are all impressive. The décor feels premium and well thought through, and overall the physical environment is a strong highlight. However, the service fell short of what I would expect from a five-star property. At check-in, there was no staff member to escort me to the room or provide a brief introduction to the hotel facilities and room...

"Staff was wonderful & accommodating. Rooms were unique, but could use some updating & a deeper clean. If you are a light sleeper make sure to ask for a room on a higher floor. Info states there is a restaurant & room service, but it doesn’t open until 5PM & not open at all Sunday & Monday. "

"Stayed in the king room and it was awesome. Heaps of space and very clean. Bed was comfy and the room was very quiet. The free lolly bar in the foyer was a nice touch! Best place I’ve stayed at in Brisbane!"

"Great location with a short walk, train, or Uber to wherever you need to go. Suite was well-appointed with all required kitchen items …lower lighted lamps appreciated as many places have poor bright lighting with no dimmer switches. Washer/dryer was great to have (came home with a full suitcase of clean clothes) Rooftop pool was very nice with good sun access. Front desk staff were great. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Convenient location in terms of public transport and the CBD, literally a 5min walk to both. Clean room, helpful and friendly reception staff, large and comfortable room (we had 3 adults with enough space for everyone to be comfortable and not cramped). Great stay!"

"We had a very pleasant stay. Concierge David was amazing and very helpful. The location is very central and convenient. Parking options nearby are limited, but valet parking was very convenient. The shower head kept falling down, which was a bit inconvenient, but the room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We especially loved the pool and the wet deck. We would definitely stay here again. :)"

"Well positioned. Beautiful room overlooking the river. Expensive onsite restaurants. The only issue was the lifts. The swipe card worked intermittently and that affects the efficient use of the lifts. "

"Staff were amazing right from the Valet parking to having my luggage taken to the room. Then loading my luggage into the car when it was time to go. The bed was beautiful to sleep in , breakfasts were lovey and staff are very attentive. "
