"I would not stay here again. Most things in our room was all unplugged. Many things did not work. Our things did not charge up as expected over night. Their breakfast was only open from 7 to 9."

"The cleaning and dining staff was very friendly and helpful. Some of the check in/front desk staff was extremely helpful and others were completely clueless. Luck of the draw. Overall the staff kept the place clean however the hotel itself has seen better days. The lobby intermittently smelled as if they had a sewage backup and our room has a very musty/moldy smell to it."

"The cabins are beautiful and in a quiet area. The staff helped me when I injured myself on my first day. The air conditioning was refreshingly quiet. The only downside is that you have to ask for cleaning (in general and wastebasket dumping), fresh towels, and change of sheets. If you want to use the pool, forget about it. It is in dire need of cleaning. That being said, it was a good experience with a few hiccups."

"Took my parents to the UP for the first time and they loved their room! Bed was extremely comfortable, everything was super well cleaned, and the location of the motel is perfect for people wanting to go to Mackinaw Island and come back on the same day. I’ll stay here again in a heart beat."

"It was good for sleeping. But would not go back. Heard noises all throughout our stay (footballs on the 3rd floor, people laughing and running outside in the hallways, shadows of them outside at all times etc etc.) There were mayflies everywhere on the balcony window so we couldn't go out there or open them, and the beds really did a number on my back. Not to mention the check in location was in a different building up a huge hill, which was very inconvenient and stressful. I had to ask...

"From the outside it looks like a nice place, the room was clean but there were ants in the bathroom. There was a fridge in the closet but no microwave, the room was dark as there is only one lamp on the nite table. The room is sadly lacking ac outlets and no lamp near the table. We have never seen a coffee pot like the one there, when you pour the coffee it leaks out over everything, also there was only one pack of coffee, we had to go ask for more. Also nothing but powdered creamer, yuk! For...

"The condo is pretty far away from town,however the horse taxis are fun and easily available.They have a porter to send your luggage on,at the ferry docks.So you don’t have to go back and forth.You can stay right in town and explore the island until you are ready to head to your room.When we did our luggage was in room waiting for us.Also the next day at check-out the porter took our luggage to the ferry and made sure we got the next available taxi into town.When we were ready to head back to...
