"It's an older hotel and very dated. The hallway and elevator carpets were worn out and stained. The rooms were clean, but dated. The food at the bar was not very good. I had the breakfast buffet it also left a lot to be desired."

"They didnt have a double room that we booked so they gave us two king adjoining rooms for the same rate. Both Tvs were not working but they promptly fixed them. The gentleman who fixed the TVs was very friendly and recommended a great food place. Over all beside a little snafoo at the end where they tried to charge me a 3rd time, it was a good expirence. Will visit again."

"I have been to all of the Delmar’s except for traverse city, this hotel is so beautifully decorated. And from the delicious breakfast, to the spa, to the lovely staff… This is a 1000%so do yourself a favor if you need some R& R and your headed to NYC, skip the hustle & bustle of the jammed pack city , unwind and rest at Delmar Southport"

"Very impressed with room cleanliness, shower head/water pressure and comfortable bed. Also appreciated the complimentary breakfast buffet, for both food quality and presentation. Was disappointed with the front desk’s inability to honor my longstanding request for an early checkin (1 pm). I arrived at 1pm and was told my room wasn’t ready. Was told I would be notified by phone when the room was available. Never received the promised phone call and was issued room keys at 3:10pm."
