"Had an exceptional stay at Vila Nepos in Split. The Venetian suite that was booked gave a feel of living inside a castle with all the modern and essential amenities. Rooms were clean and quiet, bed was comfortable and bathroom was spacious and super clean. Having complimentary access to washer/dryer inside the room was a luxury. Free WiFi worked well. I found the service inconsistent: some staff were very friendly and attentive and others looked bothered by our requests. Similarly some rooms were clean and others clearly hadn’t been properly sanitized. The breakfast was excellent."

"The room is in a great location within Old Town with lots of restaurants and things to see steps from the room. We booked a driver to pick us up from the airport through Luka for a reasonable price. He was very nice and even walked us to the room and gave us some dining recommendations. The room was very comfortable and clean. It was perfect for a 1 night stay before we got on our cruise at the port the next day. Just a warning, there is no privacy in the bathroom, so only stay here with someone...

"My stay was just okay in part because the hotel and I had a dispute about being overcharged. I am partly to blame as well as Expedia but let’s just say no kindness was shown to me. The breakfasts were excellent - varied, attractively-presented and featuring an impressive range of local produce. Shops were nearby, and within two hundred metres we could walk to Diocletian's Palace, the waterfront and two markets,as well as to the ferry port and bus station."
