"Free shuttle was awesome but anyone checking in from a 3rd party was not allowed to check in before 4 pm. We had to wait while we watched them check in other guests who booked directly through their website.. it didn’t seem fair as we watched from the couch from 3pm to 4pm"

"Hidden gem. Outside has some sketchy homeless individuals, but all in all not too bad. I did warn the front desk about an elevator issue and they didn’t take me seriously. By the evening the elevator was down and everyone either had to use the staffing elevator and or the stairs. I would’ve been upset had I been stuck in the elevator. We had a baseball game to get to and they would’ve hold the luggage until check in. They charged us extra for early check in for a room they told us they upgraded us to, but they gave us a queen bed and I specifically booked a king. They only reason I didn’t complain and request the king bed was the need to change rooms. Although the queen bed, I don’t care that it wasn’t a studio apartment is not an upgrade when we sleep in a king bed at home hence why I picked it. Staff were nice though. It was close to Comerica Park and that’s what I wanted."

"We got breakfast in the Trolley Stop. It was not busy but we waited over half and hour for our food. It was not hot. And I asked 4 times for more cream for my coffee and never got it. Let me reiterate, it was not busy"

"We loved the stay at The Inn. The location was prime for everywhere we wanted to go. The room we stayed it was good but next time we’ll get a bigger room for us. Hotel parking was easy. Every single person we interacted with at the hotel was friendly and helpful. We will be back next time we’re in Detroit."

"We had a nice stay at this property. For the price, the beds could be more comfortable, especially the pillows. The extra blankets looked cheap and pretty old. The service was good. They give you free bottles of water if you ask at the reception desk, which is great!"
