"I have stayed at the Grand Chancellor every time I visit Hobart. It always meets expectations, wonderful friendly staff and great location. Rooms are kept impeccably clean and the restaurant serves a great menu of good quality options. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else."

"Such a gorgeous hotel. The extra touches in the room were wonderful such as a quality hair dryer and straightener, plus robes and towels and a stunning mini bar. Our room even had a washer/dryer combo which is so rare in a hotel room. I couldn’t fault this hotel. We will absolutely be back."

"I'm not one to write reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised by just how much I liked staying here. All your standard hotel amenities were there, no complaints on that front, and several bonus amenities (extra comfortable bathroom heat lamps) were the cherry on top. The free breakfast is genuinely delicious; by far and beyond the best I've had at a hotel. It's not some mediocre lukewarm continental breakfast, you get great coffee and delicious food made to order every morning. Literally the best...
