If you are on a hen weekend this is the perfect stay for you. Not for a couple who like the peace and quiet though. Property was ok but next to some loud bars although to be fair things seemed to close quite early. Beach was quite densely populated and this was out of season so suspect it is rammed any other time. Hotel was fine, breakfast was mediocre. service ok although had to yell at housekeeping to stop them coming in our room before we checked out! Won’t be coming back.

Traditional look in great location for views bars and restaurants. Very lively area with a holiday feel. We booked a twin room with balcony overlooking the creek ( river ) which was well worth it. Grab and go breakfast was plentiful and enough for most people. Only negative was that we were warned that the outside was being painted which we were ok with and made the hotel very smart but there was a mess left on our balcony which reception seemed unable to deal with. Reviews are correct, this place is exceptionally clean and in a very good location and easy to drive into Charleston for a visit. The rooms are super clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower could do with some pressure but it's a great hotel and I highly recommend. Parking was plenty and very secure. Mount Pleasant seems to be a very safe area.

Standard rooms with two queens are comfy & suitable, but not massive, so don’t expect extra space.
Decor is clean and pleasant & well maintained but I wouldn’t say it’s very modern.
The pool area with sun beds is lovely. The hotel have plenty of beach towels which you can also borrow for your day at the beach.
If you book including breakfast you get a voucher which entitles each guest to 1 drink and 1 breakfast entree. Any extras you pay for. ...

Really pleased with our stay at Staybridge. Had not realised breakfast was included, so that was a bonus! And the breakfast offering was lovely, plenty of it, plenty of choice, well presented....
Staff were all helpful, friendly and efficient, rooms and everywhere spotlessly clean, new towels every day.
Facilities? No evening restaurant, ( but thats why they were suites with kitchenettes), swimming pool was merely a plunge pool and right next to the car park!
