"We’ve never stayed anywhere as noisy as this. The walls seem paper-thin and you can hear absolutely everything, from conversations, snoring to private moments. The creaky floorboards and loud doors made it even worse, with constant noise throughout the night. Unfortunately, we ended up leaving two nights early because we simply couldn’t get any sleep and couldn’t bare another night of that.
However the room itself was fine and clean, but the noise levels made the stay very uncomfortable."
"The towel radiator rails were rusty and leaking in both rooms. We were in 100 and 101 in basement.
Mould in showers.
Pump hand soap in bathroom would be better than bars.
Rooms were cold took ages to heat up with the a/c machine.
Marks on the velvet bed looks like sick down the sides.
No bed guards at hotel and children on single beds and not even against a wall with a radiator next to them although they didn’t seem to work.
Swimming pool is tiny and only suitable for a couple of people at a time.
Breakfast was average basic tea and coffee no machines with choice. Pictures definitely make it look better than it is.

"Plenty of parking. Friendly and professional staff. Very accommodating when we wanted to change our booking from family room to 2 double rooms. Clean rooms but the hotel is very very dated! In need of repairs as well. We did enjoy the swimming pool and the little jacuzzi! "
"Stayed in a family room which was great, only one door to the hall though the kids could reach the lock. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Shower room was very nice, clearly new, great shower! lovely products and towels. Beds were comfy and the room was very nearly blacked out by the curtains. The games room was fun, there is a separate room for younger children with TV and DVDs as well as books and toys. Indoor pool was perfect for the kids, hot tub wasn't working well but the sauna and steam were lovely for a short relax. Pirate ship play area was a hit! Food was enjoyable and staff friendly. Grateful that is was quiet as that suits us well. Path to the beach is bit rocky and uneven, best to walk via the road, short walk (few mins) car park is National Trust so pricey if not a member. Beach is fab. Cinema room was good. Plenty of spaces to sit around the hotel inside or out. Great to be able to take the dog with us. Overall would recommend - its not 5 star but its a lovely place for a short break esp with kids."
