Edgecliff Lodge Motel

"The Motel is located on a busy street. You hear traffic and other people staying in the motel. The Motel is a 2 block uphill walk from the Edgecliff transit station where there is an Aldi grocer and a large food court in the same location. The trains and buses in Sydney are world class ( think Berlin only more modern), and a breeze to get around, including getting to the motel by train from the airport. I went for a walk around the block one morning and the view of the opera house from one corner is absolutely stunning. One thing that stood out was how clean this part of town is, but frankly other the other parts of town I was at were just as clean."

"Check-in process no issues. Went smoothly. Room was ready on time. I really enjoy the room. Clean, and good layout. Happy they I found this hotel. Great location, pretty close to the beach, shopping centre, grocery stores and coffee shops. Breaks fast was good, scrambled eggs, bacon, veggies, potatoes, fruits, yogurt, cereal, apple and orange juice, coffee. Laundry facilities very easy to use. I also liked the shared kitchen. Very convenient. Gym room enough equipment for basic workouts. Only one thing that I noticed was that breakfast buffet never started on time. I feel like they were short staffed in the kitchen. Would I be back to this hotel? Definitely"

"Beautiful room, exceptionally comfortable, clean and with excellent amenities. Every little detail had been well thought through. Glad we booked the boutique room, noisy outside but this was far enough away for that to be barely audible. Areas around the outside of the property (on the beach side) not quite as well kept but that would be very difficult in such a busy location. Good secure parking. All of the hotel staff were also brilliant even helping us to search through road closures during the marathon so that we could ensure we were able to get to the airport easily."
