We had a fabulous stay at Taronga Zoo Resort. Everyone was was knowledgeable and kind. The hotel was beautiful and the zoo was extraordinary! Just like the ads show, we had a Koala outside our window in our animal view room. I highly recommend staying here and taking the personal tours offered.

Unbelievable view of the harbour and makes it so convenient to explore the zoo. The staff were friendly and helpful and the exclusive tours were amazing as well

It was lovely having a koala outside my window. Filled my camera roll with his cute little face. Staff was very nice and rooms are lovely. The breakfast was good and varied, a little from day to day. It’s not really walking distance to anything else, so you either need to use an Uber or a car. One day in the zoo I think is enough, unless you have little kids.

We had a fantastic stay at the Wildlife Retreat at Taronga. The Animal View room was lovely, and seeing the koalas up close from our room was such a highlight. The sanctuary tour was awesome, especially the breeding pair of geese ladies! Dinner at Me-Gal was super tasty, although service was a bit slow. Breakfast at Me-Gal was included with our stay and was delicious. Such a unique experience and definitely more than just a hotel stay. Would absolutely stay again!

The staff we incredibly friendly and helpful and accommodating. Helping us schedule different tours and also giving us good tips and advice about Australia! Very cool experience plus have no access to the ferry to go to the harbor was very helpful and got great pictures! Would recommend spending the little extra to get an animal view room. Really makes things feel special!!

A uniquely fun hotel experience. My wife treasured waking every morning with Waddles, a koala bear, just outside our window. The view of Sydney lights from the lobby was beautiful. And I enjoyed the kookaburras singing before sundown.

Our stay at the Wilderness Lodge was comfortable, Sanctuary view from our room was good. Staff were friendly and helpful 🙂 to us Zoo food is rather pricey, including the Me-Gal Restaurant , we wouldn't rate it fine dining, no dress code either, with guests wearing hats at night? It's certainly a one off experience, but don't think we'd do it again.

The overnight stay was fantastic. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable with awesome views of the koalas and the city of Sydney. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious. The kids especially had a wonderful time.

Beautiful and idyllic location with views of Sydney. The room was lovely and clean. MY 8 and 10yo granddaughters experienced their first Room service. Breakfast was good. I did think the dinner menu was limited and the pizza was a little disappointing. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

This hotel was a once-in-a-lifetime incredible experience. I can’t recommend it enough. We woke up every day to a koala in front of our window, private tours, private entrance to the zoo, amazing restaurant… a must stay!

The Wildlife Retreat is stunning from the moment you walk in to the foyer. Not only is the foyer beautiful, but the view to Sydney Harbour is stunning. Our Wildlife View room was very spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The staff in all areas of the retreat were great.
