"Good breakfast, clean room, etc., but what really made this hotel great was the staff, especially the manager Bryan, who went out of his way to help us. So nice. Our room was noisy and didn't have good wifi but I still give it 5/5 stars because everything else was great."

"The prior reviews on this hotel are very mixed, but I booked last minute and was optimistic. Unfortunately, the bathroom drain didn't drain, so after a couple minutes in the shower, you were standing in several inches of water. The shower ceiling was moldy. This may have been a specific problem of Room 1. This room also at the front of the hotel, and the traffic noise is very loud due to the cobblestone streets. Every car sounds like a jet plane overhead. I think the interior rooms are probably much better. The staff was very nice and helpful, and the breakfast the attached cafe was very basic but fine. The location is great, right in the middle of some lovely historic architecture on one side and lots of restaurants and bars in the other direction. Very walkable. Parking included, but it's about 3 blocks away. The building is charming, location is great, but if you decide to give this one a go, be sure to get an interior room and check the condition of the bathroom before you accept the room."
