"My wife and I spent 5 nights at JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa in April, 2024. The room and beach were great. The facility itself is enormous, far more so than I had realized when I booked our stay. It's a Marriott, so expect meals to be priced double (or triple) what you might pay at nearby (and far less fancy) restaurants; indeed, meals were priced a good bit higher than what we had paid at similar or nicer hotels in Seam Reap, Bangkok and Hanoi. Perhaps the absence of high end...

"Great place for a family holiday. Kids 5 and 7 absolutely loved it. Went to kids club daily which got them out of the heat. Loved the slides, kids water park. The pools were hot, not refreshing. The rooms had great air con, which was needed as it was so hot. We ate outside the hotel every night, and easy to get tuk tuk, or walk. Lots around this hotel. Would highly recommend to families was young kids. "

"It's position right on the beautiful Memories beach. The only thing I would say, maybe change the breakfast from day to day a little bit. We had 6days days of the same, it was all lovely and tasty but some changes would be welcome"

"It is set up in a jungle it is very relaxing to stay. The beach is front is cleaned but needs cleaning. There are sun chairs but need maintenance The gardens are nice but need better maintenance. The bongolows are spacious with good showers but need repainting. The all place needs DIY and upgrading. "

"This resort is perfect for people looking to have a little oasis getaway. We stayed in a Palm Villa and it was worth the upgrade. Very clean, great amenities, breakfast buffet was more than sufficient and staff were over the top friendly. It is a 2 minute walk to the beach, which is not overcrowded and has tons of little restaurants. The pool area is small but beautiful and the resort is walking distance to shops and restaurants on main drag. Our only not so great experience was the food at...
