Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge

"The staff was excellent, helpful. There were several issues in our room: Initially the thermostat would not work in the heat position but the staff promptly brought a heater. The sink drain was clogged, again the staff remedied the problem. After requesting housekeeping, the towels were not replaced (perhaps we should have placed the old ones on the floor, but there was no indication to that effect), and one bed was only partially made. The best part is the location of the lodge and its orientation toward the west. The sunsets over the mountains on the horizon are incredible. This is the second time we stayed at the lodge (4 nights) and we will come again. The surrounding region is beautiful too, waterfalls, towns, trails."

"Convenient location. Lots of things close by. All Comfort Inns are well kept. My phone not connected so I had to walk back down to find out breakfast times because desk didn’t say. Not a big deal but hence the 4 stars on service. Otherwise, excellent choice."

"The place was clean and my kids loved that they were all decorated for Halloween. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and well put together. The breakfast was really good. My kids were obsessed with the pancake machine and a staff member made it a fun experience for them. She also gave us a wet rag for sticky fingers which was such a sweet gesture that was much appreciated. Overall, it was a wonderful experience."

"I really enjoyed our stay. The inn is very old and has a rich history. We stayed in the original building and it was charming. The bathroom was small and the room was large, as expected in an old historic building. The bed was comfortable and the continental breakfast was great. I would stay again. Also, the Woodbridge Tavern that is onsite was very good!"

"Our stay was outstanding! It was peaceful and nice when sitting out on the front patio. The cabin was clean and the bed was comfortable. The host kept in communication via text and it was easy to access the cabin when I arrived in the later evening."

"5 stars for all but do keep in mind this is a ranch setting with horses. We stayed in the little barn or tack room(?) It was a unique and wonderful experience. Loved Pam's breakfast of homemade waffles and all the fixings. The ambience and her gifted story telling made for a memorable weekend for me and my two sisters."
