"This was one of the most unique places we have ever stayed. The staff was excellent. The rooms were great. The breakfast was light and gets you going. The spa was great and the pool was perhaps the best we have ever been in. The staff is accommodating and made our honeymoon truly special. One thing, do not leave any food items open in your room, the insects will find a way. That was completely our fault. :-)"

"Omg Tama lodge was exquisite! It was exactly what I needed. A small hostel with only a few rooms was perfect. It was a very family type place. The communal kitchen and common area was great to meet others staying in the lodges Cristian is a gem! Such a great host. I really enjoyed traveling to Tama as a single 38 yro female. Tamarindo beach was literally 15minute walk. There’s no tvs or blow drier there so keep that in mind. Rooms were cozy shower was great. I really loved the energy of this...

"The place is nice but simple. Good for a night or two. It rained all days so wifi was not good, but Staff was very helpful. Beach is across the street and 10 min away you’ll find restaurants and supermarkets"

"Honestly we felt catfished by this hotel. When we booked we thought the hotel looked amazing, but when we arrived we felt deceived. I can list all the horrible things we experienced starting with their towel policy. They give you tickets for pool towels which you can only get from the front desk which is across the street from our room. If you lose the towel or the ticket you have to pay $20 so that added extra stress to our stay. The hotel room is filled with bugs which sneak in under the front...

"My stay here was incredible! I was here for one night and they had an event going on if you wanted to attend. They have a pool and the walk to the beach is 5mins! Staff were very friendly and welcoming. I had a room to myself and slept well. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone"
