"Beautiful location. Very helpful staff and excellent twice daily yoga sessions.
If you’re coming here to have an active break it’s probably not the place as there are very limited options.
Kayaking & SUP available and one bush trail up the hill.
Food was excellent !
Not really the place for a solo traveller.
Rooms not cleaned particularly well. Thick dust on top of air con unit and dead bugs around every day in room which came through the rafters. Didn’t bother me but probably would for other guests
Very expensive transfers to get to the Island.
All in all, perfect for 2 nights but 5 was too many."
"I would highly recommend the buffet breakfast - it was delicious! And the beach is across the street as well as more than one pool, restaurants and shopping!"
"Beautiful, peaceful resort.
Pros: The little beach bungalows you stay in are just lovely. The sunsets are glorious, especially when watched from the Sunset Bar. There is plenty to do: You can swim, snorkel, bushwalk, paddle board, kayak, use the pool, have a spa treatment... Wildlife is everywhere which is a nice treat. The food in the restaurant is great. Staff are super friendly and helpful.
Cons: You get eaten alive by sand flies, so make sure you invest in the insect repellent they sell there. It's not easy to get water either - they only sell small bottles, and they don't recommend drinking the tap water (it does smell a bit gross). I probably bought six of them a day. However, the staff will fill a jug of filtered water for you at the bar for you to take to your room if you ask."
"Clean, well designed modern cabins. Perfect location near the pool for our stay.
Only thing missing that would be helpful would be a small oven in the cabin kitchen for cooking, otherwise 10/10 stay. Thanks for having us!"
"Bungalows are quiet and private. Shower was excellent. Pool and beach were top rate. Staff was lackluster. Buggies are too expensive. Public shuttle was great but the stops are poorly designed for convenience. Cuca Chu restaurant was very good; make a reservation."
"All the hotel staff service was excellent. Hotel was convenient easy access to the few places on the island especially with the buggy. Breakfast and dinner selections were limited at the Catseye lounge. The room was spacious as well as the bathroom. There was a fly when we checked into the room and found a roach in the cupboard. So do clean the utensils and cups before using as there are a lot insects around the island."
