"There is no on-site parking, so be prepared for a short walk from wherever you manage to park. If you’re lucky you may find a free space as we did, although it wasn’t easy to locate one in the dark somewhere unfamiliar. There are paid car parks nearby, though I’m not sure about the rates or exact distances. Either way, expect around a 10-minute walk, which isn’t ideal when carrying luggage in the rain. "Had a lovely welcome by the family on arrival. Shown to our room which was beautiful, a real room with a view. Sunday lunch was absolutely amazing. Full of flavour and lots of it. Slept like a log, followed by a lovely freshly cooked breakfast. Will definitely be returning very soon "

"We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. The yard was unkempt and there was a general air of neglect about the whole place. "

"Nobody at the property when we arrived, had to wait 10 minutes for the housekeeping lady to arrive. She was great and very apologetic. Room was freezing on arrival."
