"Had an emergency and had to be admitted to hospital, messaged the hotel to explain and asked if they could kindly move the stay date an extra 24 hours, no cancellation...no empathy, took the money and cancelled the booking....if that's the kind of hotel that they are, enjoy the money, I'm not that desperate....karma will find a way to return the favour ...so the rating that I would give them is.... "Carl, our host went out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We had a little trouble finding the entrance to his property and he came and got us on his Vespa. His place is a true oasis set up in the hills with all the most lovely amenities, including oversize patio umbrellas. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. He recommended a restaurant in town for us and then let us there on his Vespa cause we looked a little confused. We were only sorry we could spend such a short time. If we do...
