It's close proximity to Texas A&M University is also a plus for those going to games, etc. The on-site restaurant, Porter's, is so good we went there one night, had reservations at another restaurant the next night, cancelled those, and returned to Porter's! "Hotels in a great location with plenty of places to eat. The Wed night Cordial was rather weak, with just two bottles of wine stuffed in an iced bucket and a beer tap that just spouted foam. Soup and some cubes of cheese. Not a very appetizing display. The room itself was ok. But it looked overdue for a renovation. The bathtub was chipped and the carpet worn. No glasses in the bathroom, and the refrigerator had wire shelves that made everything fall over. I guess it has become standard that...

"There was leftover cantaloupe in the refrigerator from the previous party. The closet didn't have hangers. The kitchenette was nice though. The breakfast was good. The location was excellent. There were ample parking spaces."

"The room was very clean and large enough for everything we wanted to do. The cleaning staff were very friendly and supplied everything we requested. The check in staff were very polite and helpful. The breakfast bar was kept well supplied and had a large choice of foods. Pool was kept clean and well enjoyed. Over all a very nice stay and I would highly recommend."

"The hotel itself seemed nice at first. But once we settled into the room, the bugs came out. I killed so many bugs for just an overnight stay. My kids and girlfriend were stressed out all night due to the bugs. We're not likely to go back."

"The room was clean and had everything we needed. They even provided some snacks free of charge. If I had to say anything, is that the hot tub in the room clearly hadn't been used in some time so there was debris in the plumbing that came out. Everything else was 10/10 and we really enjoyed our stay. It is located in the perfect place, everything we needed was within 10 - 15 minutes."
