"Small rooms…little room for two suitcases. Basic but adequate breakfast. Easy location…easier to drive to town center. Good for night before WWII beaches. AC not very strong. Noise could be heard from outside hotel (guests watch TV, horses at vet clinic) and inside (kids on a field trip enjoying the next room over!) Adequate, but nothing special."

"Their amenities description says they have A/C and luggage storage, these were the reasons I picked this hotel, what they had instead was a fan in the room and temperature in the room was 28 C, so had to open the room’s window, but then bugs were coming inside. The bathroom was covered in mold all over the ceiling and the shower had mold in most of the grout. The carpet of the room was very dirty and the bed was extremely firm and uncomfortable. "Nice hotel! Vehicle parking available across the street towards the pier. Friendly staff! Breakfast was very good!! Room was clean and comfortable. I stayed on the 3rd floor. Good to know: no elevator access to upper levels; stairs only. Not a big deal imho. Nice area! Great location; close to WWII historic sites. About a 15 minute drive to the American Military Cemetery, and about a 1.5 hour drive to Mont Saint Michel to the southwest and Le Havre area to the north east. I would stay here...

"Nice property. This old building is a reasonable walking distance to the downtown and the burger place right beside it is 10/10! The four person room was great as the two twin beds are upstairs in a loft area. The kids got their own space to spread out. The beds are hard, but clean. Bathroom was a good size and as expected. Obviously, no AC but they provided fans on each level."

"No air conditioning. Convenient location across from Caen station, but lots of loitering and noise. No staff on site after 11pm, which really makes you wonder about safety and support. Not ideal if you’re looking for a comfortable or reassuring stay."
