"A really lovely hotel, very clean and comfortable, and the staff were so kind from the moment we checked in! We stayed two nights, and apart from a plumbing glitch that caused the water to need to be turned off, all was lovely. The breakfast is incredible - definitely recommend!"

"Absolutely everything during our stay at Ashbrook was perfect! From the warm welcome on arrival, to the spotless and beautiful huge room through to the freshly baked bread, pancakes and bacon for breakfast that had us full right through to our evening meal, I literally couldn't fault a thing. "Loved the location, quiet and lovely grounds. Was quite far from any towns, so if that is important, it might be something to consider. Not enough towels. Tiny kitchen area. All bedrooms and the only bathroom were all up a huge flight of stairs and the beds were very uncomfortable. Very pricey for what was offered. Would get unaffordable quickly if you stayed for very long. But it was a lovely home in a lovely area and very quiet and clean. "
