"The hotel is a bit of a hostel. Each apartment has one room that will sleep one or two people my first night. I had a wonderful double bed with a wonderful duvet. The balance of my stay I shared with a group member. The other room has bunk beds and sleeps 8? There is a full kitchen tea and mate and instant coffee are provided. The building is cute. And is an inexpensive Uber ride from downtown I think each trip was three or four dollars. For my purposes, it was absolutely perfect."

"Mi experiencia en Flor Austral fue muy buena. El lugar es bonito, limpio y está muy bien ubicado para conocer Ushuaia. El personal fue siempre muy amable y atento, lo cual hizo que nuestra estancia fuera muy agradable. Como único detalle, notamos un poco de humedad en una de las paredes, por lo que considero que hay un pequeño aspecto por mejorar. Por eso no le daría una calificación del 100%, pero en general quedamos muy contentos con nuestra estancia y sí lo recomendaría."

"We stayed 2 nights, without a car and both nights we had a power outage from 1900-2300, literally just after checking in the first nights when needing to charge phones and showers. Apparently not the accommodations fault yet the hotel across the road had power. I mention without a car, as this place is not convenient at all if you don't have one. Lovely place, helpful staff but I wouldn't consider it for less than 3-4 nights and without a car. Ensure you have a power bank. "
