"Fabulous country house style stay - there is a sweeping driveway through mature gardens. The history of the house is fascinating - the monkey puzzle tree is a late addition at 1913. Staff are so kind and friendly and the food is all freshly cooked to order with generous portions.

"This inn was a good base for our three days in Rostrevor/Newry. We were within walking distance of Kilbroney Park, which was lovely with lots of good walking and hiking options. The restaurant’s breakfast and dinner were very good. The manager was very accommodating when we realized I booked a room with one bed instead of two, and she took care of it quickly. We would definitely stay here again!"
