"Wow!! The pictures don't lie! We stayed in a king room #16. So many things to love! Comfortable bed, homey feel. The bathroom was updated and spacious. Saltwater hot tub and sauna were amazing! Had a private sitting area outside to cool off. Had to make reservations so we had it all to ourselves. Full breakfast with oatmeal, waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, fruit and more. GREAT local coffee. Would be great for extended stay as it had lots of storage. Very clean rooms. The staff was amazing and had great recommendations for nearby places to eat. If we ever get back to Salida, will be staying there again."

"This place was absolutely gorgeous, comfortable, and cool. The rooms were clean, and well-stocked. Most comfortable bed ever! The grounds are very well maintained and the views are incredible."

"Very cool vintage motor lodge. Very clean, nice staff. The Airstreams are a nice addition, however we stayed in one of the rooms. The rooms have been rehabbed with really nice touches. The only two drawbacks were the lack of a pool, which would have been nice, and the window air conditioner was not adequate for the summer heat. It was in the 80's during the day and the AC couldn't keep up."
