It was awfully packed over the full moon weekend (would not recommend visiting during this period)! This pavilion-like structure at the front Paththirippuwa, or Octagon. It is a symbol of identity in Kandyan Architecture. In the olden days, the king would stand there to address his citizens who were gathered in front of him. The golden roof behind stands over the Buddha tooth relic that this temple is famous for. It was absolutely amazing.Russell gave us undivided attention and made our stay a haven.The food conveyance was all taken care off and we enjoyed the breathtaking view and tranquility of the place was astounding.We will definitely come again and this was the best place we enjoyed in srilanka.

A very nice, quiet, cozy, clean and high-quality place. A large, spacious room with a comfortable bed, chairs, a balcony with a stunning view and hot water in the shower. In addition, comfortable seating outside the room, delicious breakfasts and laundry services. Beyond that - the hotel staff is courteous, pleasant, caring and welcoming. Recommended hotel!
