"The architecture of this hotel is lovely, and we appreciated the history. There was ample parking, and the interior of the lobby was striking with lovely chandeliers. However, the elevator smelled musty, and the building was clearly not constructed as a hotel because there's not any sound-proofing, and the people walking in nearby rooms were loud. "Arrived and had trouble getting into the property, all the doors were locked and it was raining. Bare bones stay, bed not very comfortable, no carpet on the floor in the bedroom, bathroom was upgraded - nice shower, stale pastries for breakfast, coffee and tea undrinkable. Did not see any staff from the moment we checked in - available by phone. Disappointing stay for the money. Problems easily correctable though."

"Lodging seekers beware and make sure you bring a UV light to check for left over body fluids as well as a flashlight for bedbugs. Do not, I say again, do not think that the main photo on Expedia is anything like was is actually in place nor do the room photos look anything like what I walked into. This place is worst than a dive, no proper check in procedures, note on the door says to call ABC person who then would contact XYZ (allowed me to check in an hour early). "Beds were comfortable. Front Desk staff was friendly & helpful. That’s about all the good I can say about this hotel. I guess you get what you pay for. Very low price. Floor was extremely filthy. My bare feet were black from the dirt on the floor. Had to wear shoes. Pay extra and go someplace else."
