Grand Traverse Resort And Spa

"This was the nicest place we've stayed in recent memories. Beautifully maintained and almost new property with spacious and very clean room. Bath was very modern with new Kohler fixtures and faucets. Had breakfast at the restaurant. It was good but not exceptional. Beware they do tack on a bogus resort fee. If it is not optional, it part of the room cost. Everyone please stop with this resort fee BS. We did stay on Sun night so our cost was very reasonable, even with the bogus resort fee. It appears that other dates have much higher prices so pick your stay for the best value. It is a huge property so more steps than other smaller properties. But steps are good for most of us. We did love it."

"We only stayed one night on our way to Petoskey. The woman who checked us in was very nice and checked on us a few hours after checking in to make sure all was well. It's those small things that make a place stand out. Our room was clean and the balcony was nice to relax on after dinner. It was raining the day we stayed so I didn't get to go on their beach but I noticed that they had towels and other beach things to use if you wanted to."

"It was definitely a beautiful view outside. Inside is very clean. The room was definitely quiet. Older decor and had to watch footing due to carpet in certain areas being rippled. There was no ice machine on the floor. Very limited tv channel selection, when we did get to try to find something to watch, late evening. No extra blanket for the sofa. Just a comforter and a sheet. It was okay to good."

"Great Lakefront property views. Pool was well maintained and larger than most hotel pools. Breakfast delivered to your door with several options was a plus. Nice arcade room and onsite laundry was great. Room was spacious, but the mattresses need to be replaced. Sagged in the middle. Fitness room lacking. Very small, one treadmill, which was out of service, a few hand weights. Overall, comfortable room, location close to shopping and restaurants. Plenty of parking and felt safe there."
