"The room was okay but the carpet was old and torn. The tub was nasty and moldy around the drain. I wouldn’t take a bath. The bed was nice and clean with fresh sheets and the refrigerator was clean. Overall, the room was not worth the price. This was a two star room with Three star price. Beware!"

"Don’t change sheets or clean unless you ask. Didn’t get dirty towels or leave any unless asked."

"The staff was top notch. Greeting us every time we came through the door . The kitchen staff was very friendly and constantly cleaning and stocking breakfast items. Housekeeping accommodated us when we needed extra towels, very friendly .. 3rd floor staff!"

"Not impressed with the room or amenities for the price. I felt penalized for not being Hilton Member. Was told the reason we were charged $4 for bottled water was because we were not members it would have been free otherwise. Felt forced to use Valet parking. Was given the option to use the back parking lot and when we did, there’s no entrance from the backside of the building. Had to walk all the way around Glad we didn’t use anything else!! Not the way to get someone to become a member!!!Paid...

"This place was absolutely the worst I’ve stayed in in a long time. I took pictures of all the astounding issues to send to La Quinta. Problems: bathtub peeling (yes, peeling) some kind of coating that was applied. Furniture worn (chewed on by a dog) and thrown together in the room. No luggage rack and none available. Broken rolling chair. Furniture upholstery coming off. Breakfast was barely supplied, had to refill the milk pitcher myself from the kitchen as there was no one around. One bottle...

"Hotel was nice. Close drive to a lot of dining options. Price was pretty high for a hotel in Abilene. Not sure it's totally worth the cost. Took a star off due to cost. "
