Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites White River Junction by IHG
8/10 Good
"Despite no common area air conditioning and the elevator out of service, the room was clean and comfortable. And the staff were very nice! I will stay there again!"
"Clean Property. Breakfast is $$ for what's offered. Out floor did not have a working icemaker. When I asked the breakfast staff for water and ice, she refused and sent me to the front desk. The front desk was helpful!!!!"
"Third year staying here. Staff is warm and friendly. They are always asking about your day, if they can help. Valet parking is easy-to-use: in,out or just need to get something out of your car. Continental breakfast is new. Everything fresh. Coffee freshly ground and hot. Rooms are clean and hotel is quiet."
"The Inn is very quaint, the rooms are decorated nicely, clean and all the amenities one could need. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful and the food delicious!"
"It’s a typical inn—nothing more, nothing less. To be honest, I haven’t stayed at an inn in quite a while, so maybe this is standard now. There is no daily housekeeping unless you specifically request it. Even after we did, I’m 100% sure the bed sheets were never changed.
The shower water pressure is extremely low, although the water does get nice and hot. The towel warmer in the bathroom was a nice touch.
The most ridiculous thing in the room was the “mini fridge.” It’s more like the tiny fridge you’d use to store skincare products. If you want an actual mini refrigerator, you have to rent one from the front desk for $10 per day.
The on-site restaurant was also disappointing. Our waiter, Paul, was one of the worst servers we’ve ever had. He was rude, abrupt, and when I asked what the most popular items on the menu were, he appeared to read the menu while answering because he didn’t seem familiar with it. The food was bland and lacked seasoning, and my steak was cooked almost well done even though I ordered it medium rare.
Overall, we were not impressed and would not choose to stay here again."
"A well loved favorite of ours. The staff is absolutely amazing as is the delicious breakfast choices! Great location for everything we love to see and do."
"Breakfast wasn’t great but at least they still offer one. Property was little old but well maintained. Nice location and great price. Nothing fancy but clean and well kept"
