A medieval castle about 30 minutes from Salzburg. It had a cameo roll in the Sound of Music, and played a larger part in Where Eagles Dare. There is a bird of prey show featuring eagles, falcons and even a vulture. A fun time. You can hike up, or take the funicular.

View from the top of the chair lift at Aberg, one of the ski fields near Maria Alm. Really nice skiing area and lots of on the mountain cafes and accommodation.. Though the night life isn't the best, more of a family mountain.
