"Very lovely room in a older facility which has been updated. Nice linens, furniture, and personal touches like the book about the town of Taylor. Great a/c which was definitely needed. Only downside to me was the very perfumed toiletries. They were fancy Texas products but I prefer less scent in hand soap, lotion and body wash."

"Needs a huge renovation and updated. The front door is broken and has suction cup handles on it you have to pull apart. The staff (woman) was rude to my mother in law. Bathroom downstairs out of order, breakfast awful. Room was “cleaned” but carpet was gross. It’s very outdated. AC took awhile to cool off the room, bed was ok, and the shower was hot, but that’s it. No amenities- no pool or outdoor area, the area is run down and there’s an RV park next door it looks like people live...

"The breakfast was horrible, but it was expected from the reviews. The sink in our room had a leak and it was reported and nothing was done. The bed was sufficient to sleep on and I wouldn't say comfortable. The property is five years old and looks ten. There are no washer or dryers but linen bags in the rooms. The outside door to get into the hallway of where are room was was broke and was reported. At four every morning it sounded like someone was going to rip it of the hinges trying to get in....

"Loved the convenience to Salado’s Main Street and yet since the property was not in the town it was very quiet, serene and relaxing. My favorite was sitting in the rockers on the porch and watching the clouds and the birds. The rooms in the main house are super clean and beautifully decorated. The food was fabulous and owners are delightful. Will definitely visit there again. "
